LBWD

I'm back with another outfit post because I really wanted to show you this amazing dress!

I got this dress a couple of weeks ago from Zara, my best friend and I picked it up and at the time were a bit unsure. I always like to try things on just in case they surprise you and this dress definitely did!

I've been loving anything monochrome lately so instantly I was drawn to the black and white, I find that with stripes horizontal ones can sometimes make you look wider and vertical can make you look really elongated. Zara were obviously very clever, the bodice are horizontal stripes and then rest of the dress vertical. This creates an amazing hour glass look which I loveee!

I'm also not a fan of things being baggy... It drives me insane. Midi dresses that gape at the bottom are on my room 101 list. But anyway this dress was perfect, It's a really thick stretchy material meaning you can just slip it on over you head(yay no buttons) and it fits in all the right places which is what you want with any dress and is in no way baggy. P.s anybody looking for something that pulls you in and gives you a waist...this dress is 100% for you!

I'm for anything bold, and I generally don't buy anything unless it stands out to me/if i'm drawn to it. I fell in love with this dress so much I can not explain. I also set the challenge for myself this year to wear less black, and this has white in it so technically i'm not breaking any rules yay!  I got a size small and usually in Zara I need to buy a size up as i find their sizing to be super tiny! But this fit like a dream and was true to size. This dress was only £25.99 too, I can't wait to wear this out, it is definitely one to take on holiday!

My shoes are from Asos about a year ago, but you couldn't go wrong with any black shoe, I think if were on holiday I would pair the dress with a lime clutch or shoes to make it a bit more summery!

My Necklace is from Primark and my watch is DKNY.

Enjoy!

Clueless Camel

Today's post is a tribute to my favourite film of all time- Clueless. My mum brought me the DVD when I was about 11 and I've been obsessed with it ever since. I love, love, love the fashion and styling in this film!

I recently brought this cropped camel jumper from the Topshop sale and I also owned the camel skirt which I got from misguided. I thought the whole double camel/different textures would make for a really fun post and fit the whole clueless theme so well, this outfit reminds me a bit of Cher's yellow number at the start of the film!

The jumper was from the sale and was a size 12, I'm usually a size 8/10 and I think it was supposed to be more fitted but I do like it just slightly baggy as it meant I was able to tuck the front of it into my skirt a little for some modesty.

The skirt I have definitely got my monies worth out of, It was only £20 from misguided which is an amazing price and great quality also. I wear this day to day with tights, out for drinks, or 'out out' so it's perfect for every occasion. The only trouble I have is that it looks slightly short on me but this is down to my height and they can't cater for tall people only so it's understandable. I love it regardless, matte PU in camel makes me very happy!

The shoes were from the New Look sale, yes I love sales. I got these after Christmas time, but I've seen so many similar styles in their lately if you're looking for them. To me these are the perfect 'clueless' type shoe, they have the whole high school/schoolgirl shoe but slightly more grown up thing going on. I got these for £10 so definitely head over to New Look if you're after some really adorable and affordable shoes.

The bag is from Primark, It came in a couple of colours but there's just something about this blue. No matter what I've worn it with it has always looked in place. I'm not a huge bag person so when I buy a bag I tend to use it for months and moths before I change, and this one has served me very well! It also comes with a detachable strap so you can hold it either way.

I don't like to take myself too seriously as a blogger, so I just want to say now that these photo's are just a bit of fun and I enjoy shooting themed posts so hopefully you will enjoy and reminisce about the best movie ever!

Spring shoe haul

I am such a shoe person, more than clothes, more than bags, more than anything else. So the last couple of months I've bought a lot of shoes...

I figured this would be way easier to show you in a haul but I haven't made my YouTube yet so i'll try and get to the point and not bore you with lots of writing!

It's that awkward time of year where its nor hot nor cold so I've been trying to buy a mixture and I think I did pretty well. This was also done on a budget so for anyone not wanting to splurge too much these may be perfect for you!

These stripy little flat-forms are from Primark, there's just something I love about monochrome and wearing monochrome with a pop of colour- lime, blue, red. I've always liked to wear a bit of a heel as I find this actually makes most shoes slightly more comfortable than flats (completely flat shoes are actually really bad for your feet as there is no arch). The shoes look amazing on however I work in retail and I made the mistake of wearing these for the first time to work, they rubbed a lot and left me with some painful blisters but i'm hoping this was just 'first wear syndrome' because they really do look so nice and got so many compliments. Either way they were only £10 and may not be made for lots of walking/standing.

These pair of sandals make me very happy, very happy indeed. I was on the look out for some shoes for holiday, and if you're anything like me then you'll HATE flip flops, I just hate them. I don't care how expensive or how cheap, they will always rub your feet. There is nothing worse than getting out of the pool/sea and having your toes chafe against hard rubbery plastic...yeah no thanks. But again these are from Primark and total up at an amazing price of £3 I've also worn these a couple of times and they are so comfy!

I searched high and low for a pair of shoes like these, I loved the ones I had seen in Zara with a slightly chunkier heel but they had been sold out for months. I finally came across these in Topshop and fell in love, I wear these with everything...skirts, jeans, jumpsuits, dresses and they look so good. They rubbed a bit on the first wear, where the highest bit of leather meets the bottom of your calf but have been fine after that! These were £35, which yes is slightly more pricey but I had been desperate for some and the quality is great and will last you a long time!

I kind of have a love hate/relationship with these shoes. I'd needed a decent pair of black flats for a long time, and I'm not keen on the plain sort of plastic dolly shoe type. I found these in River island at Christmas as I'd been given a £10 voucher, the shoes were £28 so I got them for £18 which I thought was really good as they are really top quality durable and smart. I brought them without trying them on which was silly of me but i'm lazy so whatever and yes they did rub the back of my heel quite a bit which I thought would be 'first wear syndrome' and they did the second time, however they seem to be fine now and they are definitely the type of shoe that gets more comfortable as you wear them more. So wear them in with big fluffy socks first and you should be fine. Also the snake print and gold rim detail is just beautiful!

The last pair of shoes are again, if you haven't already guessed from the label...Primark. I felt like a needed a bit or colour so I  decided on another pair of platforms, I'm going to be honest I prefer these to the stripy ones as they are way more comfortable and have more of an arch which makes them easier to walk in. love these shoes and love the £10 price tag. Also I'm really sorry for the dirty marks haha I wore these 'out on the town' and yeah go figure!

I really hope you enjoyed this post, I will leave the links bellow all except the Primark shoes as there is now product website, but you will most likely find them all in your local store!

OOTN

Today's post is my outfit of the night(ootn) because it's bank holiday yay and i'm going out!

This isn't a majorly long post, but I just thought i'd share my outfit with you guys.

My dress is from Asos, which I think is now sold out but I think near enough everywhere are doing bandage dresses at the moment. It fits like a glove which makes me so happy, I hate anything looking baggy!

My shoes my sister actually gave to me...yay for sisters who let you borrow their clothes, shes the best haha! They are from h&m last summer and are so comfy may I add.

For my makeup I iust did a subtle smokey eye and nude lips. Then I just curled my extensions with my philips multi styler tong.

Also, I'm not so sure why the photo's look slightly blurred I think my camera was having a wobbly!

I hope you all have a lovely bank holiday weekend and happy Easter to you all!
