Life update | 5 things I am looking forward to in 2018

This year has been good to me, despite a few lows. In 2017 I learned to drive, I went to some amazing events and festivals, I went to Paris in the summer and drank lots of wine with my best friend, I went back to Disney. August onwards was a dream, I had an amazing birthday and at the end of September, I met my boyfriend! It's true, you have to kiss a few frogs. He is a diamond, I adore him! I am stoked for 2018. Here are 5 things I am looking forward to in the coming year:

1- S surprised me at with a trip to Edinburgh for my Christmas present. I had been dying to go for so long but never got round to planning a trip, my Pinterest board is overflowing! Were both into casual photography so were pretty excited to just wander with our cameras and explore, he's going to make me try Haggis, the thought makes me heave but i'll give it a go!

2- I am looking forward to writing a lot more posts on TGWHT. I think the last time I posted prior to this was February (shameful). I just felt like I had nothing to write about and to be honest I just completely lost my love for what I was doing or lets say, what I was trying to do. I felt as if I was 'just another blogger'. I'm going to try and get a lot more posts up in terms of days out, trips away, and outfits posts, things that I actually want to share.

3- I learned to drive this year, so being able to go to wherever I want is pretty convenient! 2018 has a lot of brunches, road trips, shopping dates, and visits to friends in store. The freedom is amazing, and allows me to spend so much more time with my friends.

4- I am hoping for some more mini trips away and festivals. Nothing says happiness to me like dancing in a field with your friends, beer in hand!

5- I am looking forward to capturing even more memories in 2018 than I did in 2017, I am old fashioned and still get my photos printed, I love being able to look back at times that made me happy. Way better than a phone screen!

What are you all looking forward to?

My skirt is from a charity shop which my mum snagged for £1 but I will tag similar, my shoes are Zara past seasons ago. See S's and I's items or alternatives below.
